Job Summary:


The Associate III independently operates high speed/large capacity automated equipment and completes a wide range of mail center functions and provides training and expertise to other employees.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for indexing incoming claims documents from various methods of receipt.
  • Responsible for associating the correct document type and exposure associated for proper routing to the claim rep
  • Responsible for recognizing documents for other departments and routing appropriately.
  • Verifies document quality; quality checks include machine setup, tap, test, print, and indicia verification
  • Creates contingency plans and develops alternative solutions
  • May manage data reports and process documents across departments
  • Is responsible for all setup processes and maintaining supply levels; identifies problems via troubleshooting and corrects problem or seeks assistance, as needed
  • Performs and/or assists in converting machines for processing setup, to include flattofold or foldtoflat, and paper size changes, as dictated by job

Preferred Qualifications:
Education and Experience

  • High school diploma
  • 3 or more years of related experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • None
Functional Skills

  • Can establish standards, procedures, and benchmarks to minimize potential problems within functional area
  • Possesses mastery of personal computing to include use of advanced commands; aware of the various expansion boards, monitors, graphics devices, emulator boards, modems, and printers available
