Intel Xeon Products and Solutions Software (XPS SW) organization delivers best-in-class out of the box software experiences to new Xeon based servers for the data centers or cloud service providers.

Each generation of Xeon processors bring to the market new hardware accelerators that require all layers of software readiness.

We are a team of problem solvers, experimenters, and innovators who are dedicated to creating the Software as a Service solutions that help Intel sell more Xeon processors.

We are seeking a UI/UX designer for the XPS SW group to contribute with the following activities:

  • Define and design interfaces and interactions across a broad range of software solutions.
  • Advocate for the user or customer, including both end users and developers.
  • Facilitate collaboration between product management, architecture, and engineering to define the user experience within the product strategy and product definition.
  • Design interaction model, information architecture, and navigation, enabling users to easily and effectively complete primary tasks and achieve goals for usage.
  • Design user flows, wireframes, UX specifications, personas, and prototypes which encompass the overall user journey through the product.
  • Communicate user experience design to key stakeholders and collaborators; and evangelizes UX design across various levels of the organization.
  • Collaborate with UX research to iteratively test design ideas, hypotheses, and concepts.
  • Collaborate closely with product management, keeping up to date on product development activities to address design refinements and new product functionality.
  • Engage directly with customers to perform usability studies and requirements gathering.
  • Keep current with industry trends in UX design through new tools, processes and methodologies, and activates internal and external UX design communities.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or a related field with 5+ years' experience.

5+ years of experience in:

  • UI/UX design for digital products.
- turning UX research, task flows or other business process documentation into solid design recommendations and sketches.
- interaction design methods (task flows, wireframes, prototypes).
- working with information architecture/navigation in mind.

  • Must have a portfolio demonstrating design outputs.
  • Advanced English level.
3+ years of experience working in Figma.


Preferred qualifications:


  • Master's degree Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field and 3+ years of related experience.
  • Accessibility knowledge related to Software (WCAG).
  • Experience with basic UX research and evaluation methods such as usability testing, interviews, surveys, personas, journey mapping, heuristic evaluations.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UI/UX design projects and problemsolving skills.
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and design systems.
  • Experience working with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and basic understanding of frontend development.
  • Experience working in Scrum teams, preferably through the use of Jira.
