The Senior Accountant will be responsible for Billing for Colombia and Mexico (Local Invoicing/CFDI); and data analysis related to Accounts Receivable for financial reporting, journal entry preparation and general ledger reconciliation.
What you will be doing: Responsible for all aspects of Accounts Receivable in Mexico and Colombia. Become the main accounting point of contact for LATAM Accounts Receivable. Ensure a thorough understanding of the underlying processes and inputs. Be self-sufficient at obtaining data from our reporting tools and using this information to review assigned areas. Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes. Responsible for the data entry of Accounts Receivable invoices. Prepare monthly Aging Reports. Prepare reports with GAAP-STAT Differences (Reconciliation). Keep close communication with Collections, Billing (GAAP), Cash Apps and BDO (service provider).What You Need to Succeed:
Proficiency in Excel. Proficiency in English. Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere as well as independently. Strong technical accounting and analytical skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Professional verbal and written communications skills. Ability to balance and manage competing high priority work demands. 3+ years applicable experience on Statutory (Mexico) Billing (CFDI) and demonstrated success/knowledge.
