Siemens is seeking oneexciting additions to our Power Automation leadership team. We are growingfast, and our ever-expanding team needs new leaders to help shape the future.In this role, you will support the growing power automation team providing morefocused effort on employee development, improving customer experience, longterm growth initiatives and process improvements. You will also be responsiblefor leading and developing a team of engineers responsible for engineering all technicalaspects of customer projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-dayneeds of the Power Automation business team, including training, and coachingnew team members, performance evaluations, schedule management, escalationresolution, and coordination with other teams and customers.

• Drive long term processimprovements and increase team efficiency through lessons learned analysis,creative preventive action plans and driving those plans throughimplementation.

• Mentor team members andcreate an environment where employees can grow and succeed in their chosencareer paths.

• Keep the team engaged,motivated and productive.

• Provide hands-ontechnical training and support for employees as needed.

• Coordinate Projectactivities with PA management team.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree inelectrical engineering

• 5 years of experience ina technical engineering role, at least 3 years of which leading projects onpower systems protection, controls, or automation as a Manager, Team Lead.

• Strong communicationsskills and demonstrated presentation skills to diverse audiences.

• Extensive demonstratedknowledge in Substation Protection, Automation and Network communicationssolutions

• Ability to ready andfully understand DC and AC schematics, three- and one-line diagrams for Mediumand/or High Voltage substations systems.

• Knowledge of Medium andHigh Voltage Protection

• High and Low ImpedanceBusbar Differential

• Line Differential andDistance Protection

• Generator Protection

• MV transfer schemes andreverse interlocking schemes.

• Communication NetworkTechnologies knowledge for protection applications.

• Knowledgeable oncommunication protocols.
