How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising production operators, production technicians, group leaders to achieve the goals and objectives of Safety and Hygiene, Quality, Service to the client and adequate cost, includes the responsibility of the coordination of the material resources necessary to comply with the daily plan and the preparation of statistical and administrative reports.

Duties and responsibilities

Supervise the work of direct employees in the production area for the effective performance of allocated resources.

Ensure that Health and Safety controls, rules and procedures are implemented and followed by staff in production areas.

Ensure that quality control plans and procedures are implemented and followed by staff in production areas. Ensuring that standardized TL9000 and 5S+1 processes and methods are met (Security plus 5S order and cleanliness).

Responsible for receiving new staff guiding them in their functions and integrating them into the group.


Ensure that the personnel under their responsibility are working in accordance with the regulations and policies of the company including ethical conduct and integrity.


Ensure that all production personnel receive the necessary training for the development of a good function according to established procedures.

Documenting training records and required certifications.

Assign each employee in their respective work areas.

Responsible for the disciplinary measures of the staff under his responsibility.

Verbally or in writing informing the Human Resources department of incidents that violate the policies or the "Internal Labor Regulations".

This function may not be delegated to group leaders, operators or other members of the organization.

It is responsible for authorizing changes, departures, absences, etc. of the personnel in its charge, according to the established procedures. Including the updating of the attendance system and payroll of personnel.

Prepare or authorize periodically required reports of personnel, efficiency and "scrap" for decision making.


It has the authority to stop any production, machinery or activities when there are unsafe conditions or non-conforming processes or products of Quality.

Participate in CPI Operational Excellence activities.


This position/function should be responsible for understanding and following the requirements of the Health, Health and Environmental Management System, its Policy, applicable standards and procedures.

Perform work functions based on established policies, procedures and processes.

Be sure that the staff knows how to read and write before assigning it in an operation where this skill is required

Perform other duties as required.


Required Qualifications for Consideration:


  • BS Degree in Engineering; or equivalent experience.
  • 35 years of experience in similar position in molding area.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • MS Office, MRP (MFG Pro, SAP).
  • Lean Manufacturing.
