  • Your responsibilities:
Daily follow up on shipments, from supplier release at their warehouse, or agreed point, active coordination between transport and customs broker release and after it follow the shipment until it reaches the customer site or agreed point. Manage the necessary documentation and forms for the lawful execution of all import activities. Knowledge of customs, pediment revision, Mexican NOM's, automatic notifications for steel by VUCEM. Ensure the data integrity of Trade Compliance processes. Management of non-conformities in the area. Oversized transport quotes and advisory for internal clients. Ensuring delivery deadlines and revenue plans are achieved. Export operation experience. Other continuous improvement initiatives, special projects, or general office duties as assigned

  • What you bring:
  • At least two years of proven experience in import/export compliance activities.
  • Desirable knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle / SAP).
  • Knowledge about annex 2
  • Positive attitude, assertiveness, and strong execution skills.
  • Interacts and collaborates within and outside of the department.
  • Individual should possess a good sense of urgency, be proactive, customerdriven, and motivated.
