Security Analyst within Trisept Solutions, one of our 14 industry-leading brands. In this role you'll perform day to day security operations and support of corporate wide security initiatives. This role will provide technical support in the security domains to all internal users, customers, and third party vendors. You will also work with the security team to maintain and uphold all security compliance requirements.

A successful Security Analyst will:

Monitor announcement and discussion of security vulnerabilities, and identify any vulnerabilities that may impact Apple Leisure Group
Initiate vulnerability scans for multiple environments to submit for compliance audits
Assist in the triage, coordination, and response to information security incidents, and respond to information security related service requests
Assist in the maintenance of intrusion detection or prevention systems (IDS or IPS) signatures and policies, including modifying or adding custom IDS policies and signatures
Identify misuse, malware, or unauthorized activity on monitored networks and systems
Assist with remediation efforts and scans from vulnerability assessment software
Support operational and functional areas of overall compliance
Respond to phishing campaigns to mitigate social engineering attacks

A successful Security Analyst will have:

High School Diploma
Not required but helpful related certifications or equivalent experience; such as OSCP, CISSP, RHCSA, CompTIA Security+ Linux+, GIAC, GCIH, GCFA, GCIA, GPEN, GNFA, GCUX, CEH
Understanding of vulnerability scanning tools and multiple platforms
Working experience with intrusion detection or prevention systems (IDS or IPS)
Installation, configuration, and monitoring of security systems
Fundamental understanding of security protocols and standards
Experience with software and security architectures
Knowledge of operating systems
Experience with Windows, Mac and *nux environments
Experience with vulnerability scanning (Nessus, Tenable), WireShark, NMAP, solid understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, routing, switching, *nux, and Windows.
Working knowledge of network technologies desired (switches, IDS, Routers, etc.)
Excellent interpersonal, consultative, and communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent organizational, planning, facilitation, and prioritization skills
Ability to solve problems under time constraints
A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both in oral and written form.
Ability to focus on outcomes and work through obstacles to get things done
Intellectual curiosity supported by strong listening and needs assessment skills; ability to identify root issues versus symptoms
Strong statistical, analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
