Communications Monitoring, Listening and Analytics Analyst

Main Purpose

Accountabilities
Functional Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team to provide analytics to support the global COE Team and eventually the Top 20 Markets according to the horizons plan. This strategic expansion results in a more efficient approach with direct inhouse support and provides a superior and standard execution of content measurement and analysis across owned, earned, and paid media channels.
  • Provide realtime/ adhoc monitoring, analysis, and reporting of trending topics and issues about PepsiCo, its products, brands, leaders, competitors, etc.
  • Manage listening and monitoring platforms to ensure optimal coverage of key issues, negative sentiments, volume of conversation, reach of influencers, etc. & generate reports
  • Create and distribute social and media reports for leadership (e.g., daily/ weekly/ quarterly type of periodic reports, or custom reports on asneed basis)
  • Deliver recurring performance reports (content, channel, topicbased reputation, influencers, etc.)
  • Monitor and provid social listening and earned media monitoring data across different platforms and campaigns
  • Support Communications Scorecard reputational analysis by analyzing PepsiCo and competitive social and media activity
  • Support pretesting and midflight optimization processes, and post campaign wrap reports for content executions.
  • Provide analytics for internal communications content to generate useful insights for the business around trends, data patterns, improvement areas, future opportunities etc

Key activities would be:

  • Support in strategy development to improve internal communications analytics through desk research, prepare initial drafts, etc.
  • Build / leverage automated tools to produce/review long term reports on employee engagement across platforms
  • Build, test, deploy surveys e.g. post townhall
  • Help assess Internal Comms impact & develop insights for future content campaign planing
  • Monitor website performance based on various metrics (visitor trends, bounce rates, most visited pages, etc.), analyze and generate insights for improvement
  • Monitor and report internal metrics (Compass Dashboard, Contact Monkey metrics + potential Yammer reporting)

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience working in monitoring and / or analytics supporting a communications function for a global organization or PR agency
  • Proficiency with earned media metrics and reporting processes across all major platforms (online, TV, broadcast, print, etc.)
  • Proficiency with social media listening and reporting processes and tools/platforms
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics and similar programs
  • Experience maintaining data models, reporting systems, automated tools and dashboards for efficient data gathering and reporting
  • Passion for consumer markets industry and latest U.S., and world events
  • Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills along with strong relationship skills
  • Collaborative selfstarter, ability to deliver work and partner across multiple teams as needed
  • Bachelor's degree is a must
  • Advanced and fluent English
