Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

  • Needs to have knowledge and experience in Technology Market (Data Centers, Fiber Optics, Telecommunications, etc.) in Latin America
  • Will support PPM RBLL in Business Development activities for Technology projects across the region
  • Provides support to Projects in execution stage, providing guidance and assessment to PMs and BL Managers
  • Collaborates with PPM RBLL to establish Strategy and Actions to grow Technology Business across the region
  • The Senior Project Manager will be expected to work with a multidisciplinary team to successfully manage and deliver data center projects.
  • Lead Project Management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery.
  • Ensure commissions are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client's satisfaction.
  • Be the primary interface with AECOM clients (new and existing) and AECOM project teams.
  • Develop strong reciprocal relationships with clients and members of the project team.
  • Provide effective support and mentoring to Project Managers, Graduates and Apprentices.
  • Ensure all team members reporting to you have current and relevant training.
  • Manage the delivery of project management team outputs, in accordance with agreed scope, program and quality standards.
  • Responsible for management of project costs, risk, communications, procurement, and stakeholders.
  • Provide full Project Management duties to AECOM clients in accordance with AECOM's project Delivery System (PDS).

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline + 15 Years of related experience, and +5 years of leadership experience related Technology experience
Preferred requirements

  • 610 years proven experience in a consulting environment providing the full spectrum of PM services including chairing meetings, minuting and proactively engaging in discussions, developing the PEP, progress reports, procurement strategies and tender documentation, general post contract management and administration, proactively engaging with Client, contractor and other stakeholders, being aware of the scope of service and ensuring we deliver within the agreed parameters and mitigate / resolve disputes whenever possible
  • Experience of successfully delivering large, complex projects would be advantageous.
  • Experience of successfully delivering Data Center projects is preferred but not essential.
  • Committed to delivering high quality consulting services to our clients.
  • Committed to safe and healthy project delivery through all project stages.
  • Ability to manage delivery of single large complex project or multiple projects small/medium projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on value, risks, and program in a holistic way
  • Understanding of JCT, FIDIC and NEC standard forms of contract.
  • Understanding of a variety of project types/sizes/sectors.
  • Accountable and responsible
