    Duties & Responsibilities:


    •Act as technical lead for small project/feature change
    •Responsible for engineering, delivering and supporting technology solutions that empower store partners across 1500 stores to efficiently assist our customers.
    •Coordinate and collaborate with other teams at Petco to ensure solutions are practical.
    •Work with rest of the Store Technology team to manage and maintain a variety of devices using device management software.
    •Devices include mobile tablets / handheld that runs withAndroid, iOS and PC / laptop runs with Windows, Mac OS, as well as other devices such as scanners and printers.
    •Participates in production issues with appropriate escalations and in root cause analysis and implements short, mid and long term remediations
    •Work closely with other development teams across Petco to troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities for seamless integrations across systems
    •Will be an escalation point for team members and provide tier 3 production support to stores.
    •Will be responsible to ensure our knowledge base articles are up to date and enable our IT Help Desk to provide efficient support to the stores
    •Will be required to act as a subject matter expert both within the team and for the other teams regarding the technologies that Store Tech team manages.
    •Evaluates new tools, technologies and processes to improve speed, efficiency and scalability
    •Responsible for monitoring & alerting using Sumologic
    •Provides coaching for Software Engineers
    •Thrives on working in a fast-paced environment

    Minimum qualifications:


    •5+ years of professional experience in engineering, delivering and supporting retail technology, device configuration and management for retail stores
    •BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related IT field

    •Experience troubleshooting, managing and engineering solutions for Windows desktops, servers and laptops at Enterprise level
    •Experience building and maintaining Windows image template
    •Extensive experience with designing, coding and debugging custom Windows PowerShell scripts
    •Experience scripting with REST APIs
    •Experience with Microsoft Intune for Windows computer management
    •Experience with JAMF for MacOS computer management
    •Experience with VMWare Workspace One UEM (AirWatch) or other relevant experience MDM/EMM software managing Enterprise iOS and Android devices
    •Experience configuring and supporting Zebra handhelds (e.g. TC52, TC57) and familiarity with Andriod intents
    •Experience with JSON configuration files
    •Experience with label printer configuration and management
    •Experience with MicroSoft certificate-based WiFi infrastructure (Radius, certificate )
    •Ability to clearly document knowledge articles for tier 1 and tier 2 support teams
    •Experience with ServiceNow
    •Experienced with Agile practices (Kanban or Scrum) and full software development lifecycles
    •Ability to speak with end-users in a fast-paced environment
    •Strong interpersonal & communication skills (both written and verbal)
    •Self-motivated with a passion for driving end-to-end solutions
    •Able to work independently and collaboratively to meet project goals
    •Able to think "outside-the box" and find solutions to meet the business requirements
    •Passion for finding ways to continuously improve the technology
