    We are currently seeking for a ODM Developer based in Guadalajara, Jalisco

    Mid Level - 4+ YOE in similar role

    Key Responsibilities

    Rule Development : Design, author, and maintain business rules, decision tables, scorecards, and rule flows using IBM ODM (Rule Designer and Decision Center).

    Modeling: Develop and maintain the Executable Object Model (XOM) and Business Object Model (BOM).

    Deployment : Package and deploy rule artifacts to the Rule Execution Server (RES) Using Gitlab Pipeline.

    Testing & Debugging:

    • Perform unit testing, simulation, and debugging of rule applications.
    • Use Decision Validation Services (DVS) to validate rule behavior and ensure accuracy.
    • Troubleshoot issues across development, QA, and production environments.

    Technical Skills

    • Strong hands-on experience with IBM ODM 8.x (Rule Designer, Decision Center, RES) and above.
    • Proficiency in Java/J2EE, XML, JSON, and SQL, Shell Script
    • Solid understanding of object-oriented design and enterprise integration patterns.

    Tools & Platforms

    • Experience with Rule Designer, Decision Center, and Rule Execution Server.
    • Familiarity with build and automation tools such as Maven/Gradle, Openshiift, Gitlab CI/CD pipelines.

    Methodologies

    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
    • Exposure to Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing practices.

    Soft Skills

    • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
