    Senior Lead, Consultant - Health and SafetyWe invite you to bring your strong analytical abilities into play as you evaluate regulatory compliance risks and other health and safety issues.

    Your new role As our new Senior Lead Consultant, we are looking for someone with 5-8 years of relevant work experience specifically in conducting health and safety and industrial hygiene consulting or support services; environmental regulatory compliance experience (related to industrial and commercial facilities preferred) and due diligence assessments (e.g., Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, EHS environmental compliance reviews and audits, desktop due diligence reviews) is preferable.

    Experience in several geographies is a plus.

    This position is a full-time position (40 hours per week) serving at either Ramboll ́s Monterrey Nuevo Leon or Mexico City offices.


    Your key responsibilities will be:
    Auditing health and safety and industrial hygiene regulatory and corporate requirements for an assortment of industrial operations.
    Completing limited health and safety and environmental compliance reviews of industrial sites and provide regulatory support to the Clients.
    Completing environmental site assessments of commercial and industrial sites.
    Conduct due diligence reviews of mulit-site portfolios for attorneys, lenders, developers, and industrial clients.
    Preparation of technical reports that effectively communicate (summarize) site findings.
    Formulating conclusions and opinions and communicating with clients.

    Travel to industrial and commercial facilities for site visits (typically one day in duration), including both local and non-local travel.

    Supporting multiple projects and meeting high quality standardsSupporting client EHS permitting activities.
    Completing environmental and social due diligence services for international financing of large infrastructure projects.

    These include:


    A minimum of a BA or BS in Geology, Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil or Geologic Engineering), H&S, Environmental Science or Environmentally-Related Field from an accredited institution and have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in H&S matters.

    Master degree is welcomed but not required.
    An understanding of the Phase I ESA requirements and the due diligence process. Experience working within the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) process is a plus but not required.
    Possess knowledge of multi-media environmental compliance topics and general understanding of Mexican federal and state regulations.

    Willingness/ability to travel up to 40% of the time on average during the year and possess a valid driver's license.

    Travel may include overnight stay and may be out of state or event requiring international travel. Travel duration is typically 1-2 days, depending upon the specific requirements of each project.

    The physical requirements of this position may include the need for climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing/sitting/walking, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 40 lbs.

    In certain situations this position may expose the candidate to extremes in weather (hot/cold); high noise levels, to hazards such as a proximity to moving machine parts and moving vehicles, electrical current and exposure to chemicals.

    Employees may be required to take specific training and to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) on some occasions.
