Plan, coordinate and define activities related to cement and Co2 innovation projects.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Pland an define of cement & co2 innovation projects.
  • Design cement and Co2 research project landscape.
  • Coordinate Cement Innovation projects supporting the company operational needs.
  • State of the art review.
  • Assure Research Findings ae properly documented.
  • Projects management, review and tracking
  • Coordinate Smart Innovation projects updates
  • Patents filing (in collaboration with IP department)

Position Challenges:


  • Maintain & evolve an internal network with all CEMEX Cement operations and innovation departments
  • Strategic projects definition for cement & CO2 Innovation projects.
  • Identify new cement chemistry and decarbonization related processes and technologies from the very initial phase, when the most advantage can be taken, but also when information is scarce
  • Achieve peers recognition in the field to be able to articulate the network

Qualifications:


  • English professional proficiency (mandatory), Spanish an asset.
  • Bachelor degree in chemical engineering.
  • Areas of expertise
  • 2 years experience in cement chemistry
  • Technical Skills required by role.
  • High level of understanding of cement and decarbonization processes.
  • High level of understanding of laboratory processes
  • Soft Skills
  • Strategic and Analytical thinking, Leadership, moderator, advising, Ethical. presentation skills, selfmotivated.
