Responsibilities:


MATERIAL PLANNING MANAGER

Main Purpose


Lead the material planning team and process for Mx Business Services, manage material planning and execution, ensuring optimal efficiency's across all channels of the supply chain.

Ensure that strategic material planning processes are in place to enable operational and production continuity.

Develop, lead, and manage a team to evolve the material planning processes as well as raw material and packaging inventory.

Orchestrate strategies, improve efficiency's and ensure consistent methodologies to ensure alignment in the process.


Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Create an accurate materials plan to support production and lead partnerships.
  • Manage root cause process and lead plans to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work close with internal and external parties to ensure supply of materials are in place to satisfy production requirements.
  • Provides leadership, coaching, focus, motivation and encouragement to direct reports.
  • Design, develop and implement flexible material processes to provide shortage risk visibility, correct safety stock levels, and drive process improvements.
  • Manage a consistent materials planning processes are applied across the business, while ensuring SAP MRP works according to the business needs. Maintain accurate planning parameters for MRP.
  • Partner with stakeholders on product change requests, review and communicate impact / risk on material planning.
  • Create integrated processes among master planners, purchasing, logistics, and outside with suppliers to execute the planning/replenishment process.
  • Minimize excesses and obsolescence through immediate actions on supplies as response to changes on demand.
  • Collaborate with and influence procurement team to look for solutions and sourcing recommendations and decisions.
  • Prepare the daily and weekly material plan arrivals, coordinate the Local Supply Chain with the Suppliers and track the daily and weekly execution and make the correct decision to change the route, if need.
  • Establish a robust governance process with Material Planning and Procurement to ensure short term needs are met.
  • Monitor the daily material plan, the KPIs and Reports and define the action plans to recover and improve them in the short term.

Qualifications:

Qualifications / Requirement

  • Graduate in Business Administration, Engineering, Economy and related.
  • Exrperience in Supply Chain, specially in Planning.
  • Use excel and power point, power BI desired.
  • Strategical and analytical thinking.
  • Results oriented.
  • Strong leadership and a good interpersonal relationship.
  • Collaborative and influencer.
  • Resilient.
  • Analytical thinking to react and creat plans for short and medium term.
  • Comunications skills.
  • Discipline and organization.
  • APICS certificate is a diferencial.
  • Collaborative and influencer.
