Role and Responsibilities

Develops technical expertise in the software tools used by the company.
Provide inputs as required with project teams working on the development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of IT solutions.
Provides support in reviewing technical designs and ensuring adherence to the AZ Architecture Roadmap, Information Services Strategy and High-Level Designs, as well as regulatory requirements & standards by working closely with Architecture & Engineering (A&E) team.
Implement new services by following the ITIL V3 principles.
Assists in the preparation of business cases, Request for Proposals, supplier selection and evaluation.
Assists in the design, development, configuration and documentation of infrastructure components.
Gathers and collates management reporting information on existing infrastructure solutions and services.
Performs maintenance, support activities and take escalations for our services as L3 when required.
Supports investigations of problems within existing solutions utilizing ITIL V3.0 principles

Essential Skills and experience

Expertise in one or more areas within Microsoft Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams etc.,)
Prior experience in an Information Services/Information Technology environment with good business acumen
Must demonstrate the capability to identify and propose innovative solutions to improve service performance.
Evidence of designing, testing, and maintaining solutions
Experience of sharing knowledge/ information and implementing changes.
Well versed in ITIL V3.0 practices and process
Good communication skills supporting joint working with geographically remote colleagues.
Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language and in alignment.

Desirable Skills and experience

Degree level education in computer science or similar
Good commercial awareness and understanding of the external market.
Demonstrate initiative, strong customer orientation, and crosscultural working.
Good networking knowledge (will be an added advantage) as there will be requirements to work with Firewall/Network team.
Passionate about trending technologies such as blockchain, XR, AI etc.,
