Responsibilities:


Accountabilities
Functional Responsibilities

  • Serve as key point of contact and trusted business partner to market and function teams.
  • Support external and internal communications teams in an agile way.
  • Work collaboratively across delivery teams (e.g. with Creative Solutions (graphic design) and Monitoring, Listening & Analytics team
members)

  • Work closely with market and function Communications stakeholders to develop internal and external communications plans

and content strategies that include:
town halls, infographics, country/market brochures, website content,etc.)

  • Drafting, staging, and execution of content via PepsiCo Communications channels.
  • Executive social media content including calendars, drafting copy, working with graphic designers to create posts,
managing the approvals process, and partnering with Insights team for metrics and engagement.

  • Write daily media roundup of external media monitoring, as needed.
  • Design and deliver internal town halls by providing content recommendations, working with graphic designers to
create assets, executing channel communications, partner with Insights team on surveys, metrics and engagement.

  • Develop executive summaries for campaigns, events, and annual plans, including quantitative and qualitative
insights.

  • Storymining around PepsiCo's ongoing themes
  • Sustainability, DEI, Digitization, Community/ foundation, etc.)
  • When needed, create concepts and write scripts for videos/audios/other mulitmedia content pieces for internal
and external owned channels.

  • Create Communications toolkits including templates, messages, FAQs, communications plans, assets, etc.
themes/agendas/storylines/key messaging for senior leadership meetings and presentations.

  • Draft internal talking points for leaders to respond to external events and provide guidance to employees. about
new processes or procedures, actions to be taken (e.g. pandemic-like situations, social unrest, natural calamities,

etc.)

  • Research competitor strategies, industry trends communication methodologies for internal and external
Communications and owned content.

  • Research, update and maintain country brouchures and other briefing materials for senior executives.
  • Play a role in online community management.
  • Partner with other GBS teams like Content Development and Analytics to deliver solutions.

Qualifications:
8+ years of experience working in Communications for a global organization or PR agency.

  • Fluency in English, spoken and written, along with excellent writing and editing skills. Familiarity with AP style and Smart
Brevity is an asset.

  • Experience in creating key communications materials (presentations, press releases, articles, executive communications,
scripts, messaging documents, social content, videos, etc.)

  • Skilled at creating effective messaging and content that drives opinion and behavior change.
  • Demonstrated strong secondary research skills to understand the problem statement, find relevant information, spot trends,
and synthesize into meaningful insights.

  • Strong project management and editorial skills; track record of overseeing a portfolio of communications projects for various
stakeholders, gained in a similar global corporation or as an external consultant.

  • Experience managing communications channels for an organization, such as websites, social media, collaboration tools like
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment across multiple geographies and time zones, experience working with
Executives in North America preferred.
