    About the role What you need to know:

    Base Salary from 28,000 MXN to 32,000 MXN based on experiencePaid Time Off; Up to 20 days each year after the first year with the AIGCompany provided language instruction (English/Portuguese) The Medical Assistance Team Leader supports and leads Medical Assistance Coordinators in the diligence of the duties they perform in providing emergent assistance to travelers abroad who need personal care and emergency relief.

    This is a challenging and rewarding position where the applicant will be able to put his/her problem solving, analytical and customer service skills to use every day.

    You act with speed, composure, compassion, and knowledge to solve problems and the work you do every day is the heart of AIG's business.

    The Medical Assistance Team Leader is responsible for:

    Assist with delegating team member work assignments, daily activities, and schedulesResolve customer inquiries based upon a complaint and/or escalated callAssist in the determination of work proceduresWork on a flexible scheduleAssists with the monitoring of team member knowledge on products, services, and policiesCoordinate casework regarding travel emergencies related to an insured's emergent condition as neededAssist with moving cases complex in nature forward through handling or providing guidance to team membersStrive to be a positive influence and encourage positive interactions and teamwork with othersActively participate in team, department, and center-based meetingsMiscellaneous duties as assigned What we're looking for: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceDemonstrated experience in a call center environment, preferably with international travel exposureDemonstrated personal expertise and knowledge in emergency/critical case coordinationDemonstrated personal expertise in presentation, training, and teaching skillsMust possess clear, concise, and professional verbal and written communication abilitiesMust have master level proficiency in EnglishTrilingual in Spanish and English Required, Proficency in a third language is a plusPC skills: O365, MS TeamsAbility to work under pressure and as part of a teamGood verbal and written communication and leadership skillsMust be able to function with a high degree of independent judgment A look at our benefits At AIG, we have a 100-year legacy of working to make the world a better place.
