About the Role

Your Team

Sr. Molding Engineer, Facilities Eng, Sr. QC Engineer, Materials Planner, Warehouse Leader, Production Site Leader.

What You Will Do

  • Maintain a safe, clean and orderly workplace in compliance with all Harman regulations including local, state and federal laws.
  • Develops an effective and efficient workforce. Supervisory responsibilities of Team Leaders on all shifts
  • Ensure plastic injection production equipment quality and efficiency in production.
  • Work with the engineering team to improve the production process and reduce cycle times.
  • Plan and coordinate resources to meet production objectives and ensure compliance with delivery deadlines.
  • Ensure occupational health and safety standards are met at all the times.
  • Identify and resolve problems in the production process and take preventive measures to avoid future problems.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Supervise the maintenance and repair of plastic injection production equipment.
  • Supervise the mold workshop, ensuring correct repair and maintenance of molds.
  • Develop, implement and maintains training program to ensure production plans align with necessary skills and competencies.
  • Strives for continuous improvement in all areas of production, particularly quality and cost control working closely with Team Leaders, Engineering, quality and other relevant areas.
  • Oversee and lead the project team to ensure product deliver is within the stipulated time.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Must be willing to maintain technological competency to develop and manage world class manufacturing facility.
  • A minimum of 6 years of injection molding is required.
  • Experience in a leadership position in the plastic injection production department.
  • Technical background in plastic injection production processes, tooling, equipment, material, manufacturing and quality.
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills necessary to perform the job.
