- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily transportation operations (routes, trips, circuits, units, and drivers).
- Ensure optimal allocation and utilization of fleet, drivers, and operational resources.
- Monitor and ensure service level compliance (OTIF, delivery times, incidents, claims).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and operational efficiency.
- Oversee fleet availability, preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Coordinate with internal maintenance teams and external suppliers.
- Control fleet-related costs: fuel, maintenance, spare parts, accidents, and insurance.
- Lead supervisors, dispatchers, and operational teams.
- Ensure effective workforce management: schedules, shifts, productivity, and attendance.
- Support performance-based compensation and incentive schemes tied to operational KPIs.
- Foster a strong culture of safety, discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Work closely with key clients to ensure operational commitments are met.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Maintenance, and IT teams.
- Support operational transformation and digital initiatives (ERP, TMS, telematics, reporting tools).

- Strong background in cost control, KPIs, and continuous improvement.
