Which is the main objective of this role?


Achieve an increase in the productivity and efficiency of the plant, through the optimization of work processes and the performance of all resources, with information analysis, monitoring of key indicators, use of tools, techniques, and methods, with the detection of areas of opportunity, the design and the proposal of improvements, as well as their implementation, which result in products with competitive costs and quality for our clients and consumers.


What will you be doing?

The Main purpose:


  • Ensures compliance with the annual productivity plans and KPI's goals, through the administration and monitoring of the scorecard, the optimization of resources and the improvement of these plant indicators.
  • Generate strategies and improvement plans with the different areas involved (production, warehouses, quality, etc.).
  • Ensures control of labor costs through the analysis and monitoring of standard crews, their optimization, improvements in layouts, automation projects, and updating of those standards.
  • Manages the variable payment model, which implies calculating weekly payroll by team, analyzing variable payment trends and calibrating the indicator ranges according to the performance of the teams, developing the business review strategy with T&C.
  • Ensure the correct administration and control of inventories, flow of materials, good storage practices covering food safety and industrial safety standards, as well as the development of people from Raw Material Warehouses, Packaging Materials and Spare Parts Warehouses for with this, achieve operational continuity, service to our customers, avoiding inventory obsolescence, inventory differences and reduction of losses.
  • Guarantee the correct monitoring of controls within the MP and ME warehouses, production processes, payments for services used in the plant and within the spare parts warehouse, reconcile production transfers (PT) to the warehouse, in order to comply with international regulations (SOX) and reduce risks of theft, misuse of company resources and deviations from established policies, code of conduct and values.
  • Ensure the correct and timely registration in the transactional systems (SAP, SAPP, etc.), such as: correct assignment of people by lines/cost centers, closing of consumption orders, etc. that gives us reliability in the information for decisionmaking and reliability in the execution/operation itself.
  • Coordinates the local Annual Operations Plan (AOP) at the plant and monitors all business and budget indicators throughout the year, providing feedback to the different leaders and teams, for their compliance and timely delivery.
  • Promotes a culture of productivity and continuous improvement using tools such as Lean Sigma, Boomerang, etc. and the transformation of our people through MOTOR.
  • Member of an integration team and is a promoter of performance meetings.
  • It is the official source of the indicators, numbers of cost, expense, savings, and productivity of the plant for the evaluation of projects, of the Capex, for the centralized report to Productivity, presentations of results and in general for everything that has to do with the same (indicators).
  • Provide direct feedback and visibility to the plant coach on the different issues related to the overall results of the plant to ensure consistency in the short and long term.
  • Comply with and enforce the Quality, Food Safety, Industrial Safety and Environment Policies, in such a way that the objectives aimed at satisfying our customers, consumers, laws and business rules are met; participate, promote and live the culture of the MOTOR + organizational transformation model.
  • Authority to enforce the food safety and quality policy through adherence to good manufacturing practices, stimulating and promoting a culture of food safety and hygiene.
  • Authority to stop activities that put safety at risk, stop potentially unsafe product.
  • Authority to provide training.
