_JOB SUMMARY _
Identifies and develops internal areas of opportunities through the DMAIIC methodology and tools of Excellency in processes with the purpose of reducing the manufacturing cost of the products and continue with the culture of continuous improvementand follows up in quality and regulatory requirements comprehended in the business strategy


_DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES _
Under (e.g. limited supervision, general direction, etc.)
and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

Identifies, designs and develops the necessary equipment.

Performs material tests.

Studies the processes to implement improvements.

Responsible for preparing and managing specifications.

Coordinates technicians and engineers about unusual problems.

Responsible for purchasing and designing equipmentand tools that meet manufacturing, safety and environment requirements.

Participates in saving and capital proyects

Responsible of complying with finance metrics

Responsiblefor evaluating and developing action plans for quality, safety, cost, service and regulatory compliancerequirements

Performs activities of process/product validation.

  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management levelo
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to doso are available and in good condition, if applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
_


  • Engineering, any specialty.
Preferably knowledge in the medical industry.


_REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS _

  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and documentation, preferably in the medical industry.
Experiment design

Knowledge in statistical analysis tools

Management of statistical procedures.

Knowledge of computer programs.

Oral and written communication in Spanish

Intermediate English
