Sales site inspections are the most critical point to winning business for the hotel.

The entire hotel team from the General Manager to the housekeeping staff are stakeholders, and together we must all ensure flawless execution of the site plan in order to WOW the customer and secure the business.


Position Statement:
The Site Inspection Sales Manager will primarily be responsible for conducting site Inspections of all segments Group and Transient
Goals:

  • Create a customer experience and develop a sales culture within the hotel
  • Establish and strengthen customer relationships
  • Separate the hotel from the competition demonstrating our unique features and benefits
  • Create the WOW factor
  • Win the business vs. the competition

Activities - Ensures the Dept. Heads review the alert in the daily pre-shift meeting and the objective of the hotel participants are clearly identified - Encourages team members to recognize the customer during the site - Get them involved - Pre-walks the site path and double checks the showrooms - Reviews and understands the lead or RFP thoroughly - Prepare arrival

  • Bell staff, GM, DOS, Executive Committee
  • Creates the WOW factor personalized to the company and/or customers' needs
  • Sends recap to corresponding Sales Manager after site inspection
  • Responsible for coordinating with Sales Managers, Fam Trips ensuring and comunicating the right message to the operations team. Ensures correct room asignment, delivery of nightly amenities, menus, restaurants reservations onsite activities, etc.
  • Maintains high levels of customer service while adhering to Hilton policy and procedures as well as following established Best Practices
  • Responsible for preparing benchmark by visiting periodically the Comp Set once a year or when needed
  • Coordinates Sales Managers comp set site visits when necessary SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.
  • Participate and attend relevant meetings where required.
  • Assist other functions when required and directed.
  • Ensures relevant communication is properly executed proactively within the operations team
  • Maintains proper and organized records of site inspections and Fams

Required Qualifications - Minimum Education: University degree/ Diploma or experience in lieu thereof - Minimum Years of Experience: Significant work experience in administrative role and Sales - Advance knowledge of MS Office and knowledge of sales tools used. - Experience working in multi-cultural or international settings - Fluent in English
