Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Product Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Product Engineer, Product Engineer role involves receiving, analyzing, cleaning, and customizing all technical information/documentation from the customer related to his product, derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or a design change in order to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity.

What a typical day looks like:

Direct support to CFT, main contact.
Customer contact, followup conferences.
Loading and structuring of BOM's.
Followup, execution and planning of pilot run/tests.
Personal Management.
Will lead Engineering Changes Implementation.
Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM), tolerance analysis, Design of Experiment (DOE), formfitfunction to determine failure root/cause analysis and reporting to customer.
Determine course of action of Product Change Notification (PCN) and Manufacturing Change Order (MCO).
NPIs introduction.
ECOs implementation.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
Fluent English oral and written.
Previous experience in Product Engineering.
Experience with MRP Systems.
Experience with Floor shop systems.
Experience being the owner of an account under their charge.
Experience leading the process for new product introduction (NPI).
Experience in ECO ́s implementation.
Experience with Baan V (MRP) is also a plus.
Experience with Flex Flow (Floor shop system) is also a plus.
Experience in Product Lifecycle systems (Agile, Arena, Procom) is also a plus.
