BASICFUNCTION

Under the supervision of the Plant Engineering Manager,this position is responsible for developing, maintaining and leadproject-engineering programs to keep the automated equipment in good operatingconditions, through preventive and corrective maintenance.

Moreover, isresponsible for the proper function of the automated equipment, such as:
PLC'S,Robots, Drives and Sensors.


SPECIFICRESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the correct operation of the control programs according to production necessities.
Develop and implements preventive maintenance programs to control devices, to avoid malfunctions or delays.
Maintain and solve problems of all equipment of the Plant, such as: PLC'S, Robots, Drives sensors and Instrumentation.
Support manufacturing improvement through KOS and supports a safe work environment.
Design and Build small machines to improve production work and reduce Takt Time.
Advises and/or responds to automation problems on 24-hour basis as needed.
Perform the assignments established by his supervisor to maintain plant equipment in good operating conditions.
Comply with the Health and Safety Roles and Responsibilities establishedfor this position (See Responsibilities chart by position).
Skills/Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


EDUCATION:
Preference EngineeringDegree.


EXPERIENCE:
Preference two years' workexperience in manufacturing operation.


FORMATION:
Preference broad knowledgein automated control devices and technologies. PreferenceKnowledge of Microsoft Windows based softwareapplications.
