    Applications Manager

    Xperior Global is seeking an Applications Manager on behalf of our client, a leading global company specializing in the design and manufacturing of robotic, custom assembly, test, and inspection systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop proposals, including technical and commercial evaluations for automation solutions.
    • Review RFQs to determine feasibility and technical approach for robotics projects.
    • Conduct technical review meetings with customers to discuss project requirements and specifications.
    • Create concepts in SolidWorks and Creo to design initial automation solutions.
    • Develop 2D layouts in AutoCAD for system planning and customer presentations.
    • Prepare PowerPoint presentations to effectively communicate solutions to clients and internal stakeholders.

    Technical Leadership & Standardization:

    • Develop standardized processes for Applications Engineering team to enhance efficiency and accuracy in proposals.
    • Ensure best practices in estimating, solution development, and technical documentation for automation solutions.
    • Establish design and quoting methodologies that align with industry standards and customer needs.

    Team Development & Management:

    • Lead and provide guidance to Applications Engineering team, fostering technical growth and business acumen.
    • Support training initiatives on best practices for solution development, cost estimation, and customer engagement.
    • Foster a collaborative team culture focused on continuous improvement and technical excellence.

    Solution Development & Technical Support:

    • Develop and refine automation solutions for robotics, assembly, test, and inspection systems.
    • Provide technical support to sales and marketing teams, ensuring alignment between customer needs and proposed solutions.
    • Act as a key technical liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

    Requirements:

    • 7+ years of experience in Applications Engineering, Proposals in automation, robotics, or related industries.
    • Experience developing solutions for robotic automation, assembly lines, and inspection systems.
    • Strong technical writing and estimating skills (training provided if necessary).
    • Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, and AutoCAD for concept development and 2D layouts.
    • Strong experience with MS Office tools, including PowerPoint, for effective presentations.
