In a typical day as an Intern in the area of Presales Engineering, you would

  • Be able to work in one of the biggest IT companies
  • Work in an international environment with experienced colleagues
  • Be getting insight in different area like product marketing, public relation, campaigns and events, projects and strategy, product management and communications
  • Help the Aruba Mexico presales team with daytoday activities to defining, developing & supporting the sales process for technology and solutions with account teams. Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet a customer's business needs.
  • Development of integrations of Aruba Central & ClearPass with specific customer requirements. Documentation of integrations, use cases and best practices for the RESTful APIs libraries that Aruba products have. Development of future integrations involving IoT issues.
  • Development of future integrations involving programmability in the Aruba switching family.
  • Explore integrations of Aruba solutions with Cloud environments.
  • A Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science.
  • Has to be passionate about a career in IT

Basic knowledge needed:


  • Networks LAN/WAN/Wireless (Desirable CCNA or similar)
  • OS Administration (Linux and Windows)
  • Programming Languages: Python, JavaScript, Java (desirable)
  • API's and Web Services
  • Relational Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Basic knowledge and/or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud)

Possessing some of the following skills would be a plus:

  • Experience with networking HW and network configuration and debug.
  • Familiarity with a server operating system, with experience in RADIUS, Active Directory, or equivalent.
  • Command line configuration of networking devices, scripted via SOAP, etc.
  • Experience with Perl, Python, or TCL Scripting
  • Non-Relational Databases (MongoDB, Redis, Hadoop, Casandra)
  • IaC (Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, SaltStack)
  • Cloud Security
  • DevOps
  • IoT (Internet of Things)
