Job Description:

This is a 6th level position in GBS Finance.

This role will work closely with both IT functional groups, development teams and business process owners to sustain 6 existing SAP systems for Project Systems (Capital/Engineering), Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

This position encompasses a high level of personal initiative, proactive follow-through, independent judgment, decision-making and thoroughness.

Perform General Ledger Functions; assure accuracy, timeliness, and conformity with professional accounting standards and best practices in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Identify, interpret, and analyze potential accounting risks and issues.
Research and analyze accounting transactions and contracts.
Identify and execute internal controls, SOX compliance and financial procedures.
Partner with Finance to determine accounting implications of transactions and perform analytical analyses to utilize when making all material business decisions.
Assist with internal and external financial reporting including analyzing consolidated results, ensuring quality, and administering strict timeline.
Evaluate current accounting practices and policies and drive continuous improvement.

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm (Hybrid)

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree: accounting, administration (recent bachelor's degree graduate may apply)
Required experience in similar position: from 1 to 3 years.
English Level: Advanced.
Key Skills: SAP knowledge, problem solving, communication, sense of urgency.
