Job Description

Job Profile Summary


Responsibilities:


  • Feedback to the NPIP team all issues found during the NPIP builds add these actions in the run report.
  • New product introduction (NPI) technician in charge of SMT programs, profiles and recipes creation for all the NPIP builds
  • Direct first contact support during the NPI builds for any immediate issues
  • Receive and prepare all new fixtures and stencils for the builds
  • NPI WIP control during the runs to avoid mixed/lost materials.
  • Coordinate the runs with engineers to validate and improve new fixtures & equipment for THT & Final Assembly (AFA) processes
  • Make sure all NPI builds are completed in time and with quality.

Must have the following skills, abilities and knowledge:

  • Problem solving skills
  • SMT technical skills (Laser marking, screen printer, ship shouter, oven & AOI machines)
  • THT technical skills ( Wave solder & conformal coat machines )
  • Final assembly general knowledge
  • Electronics process experience is required

Qualifications:


  • 57 years of experience in the NPIP processes is a plus
  • High school diploma is preferred
