Technical Support Consultant - Salesforce
We are hiring an

Technical Support Consultant - Salesforce who will be supporting on the technical support and testing of the Steelcase commerce environments (B2B and B2C).


What you will be doing:


You'll be responsible for handling day to day support requests, assisting with data issues, and completing testing for features completed by the developers.

This position will require a strong relationship with team members and stakeholders. Attention to detail is critical to success.- Learn and understand B2B and B2C commerce environments (Salesforce B2B Commerce)

  • Understand, troubleshoot, and resolve level 2 support issues. Document resolution steps. Work with development team to identify mitigating fixes to avoid future occurrences of issues
  • Understand, troubleshoot, and support system integrations
  • Develop reports requested by stakeholders
  • Communicate with development team, customer support/account managers, and stakeholders
  • Work with developers to test and verify functionality of new features and bug fixes
  • Occasionally create user documentation and provide training
  • Utilize bulk data maintenance tools
  • Contribute as an active member of an agile scrum team: Participate in team and scaled ceremonies, refine/author bugs, and stories,
  • Work effectively with mínimal supervision

Your future team:

You will be part of the eBusiness Platform team, located in Steelcase's business center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The team consists of eight IT professionals across three countries (USA, Mexico, Romania). You will also work with external consulting firms to round out the development team. You will be part of the Customer Engagement Team within Steelcase Information Technology department. We work with customers to define user stories, design, and architect solutions, and execute projects from beginning to end. Our work primarily takes place within the Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud environment.
Who you are

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in an ITrelated field or some equivalent experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar area
  • Advanced English is a must.
  • Proficient in MS Office with an emphasis on Excel
  • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle Process and tools (Azure DevOps, Repos, etc)

Preferred Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn and understand new systems from a configuration and admin perspective
  • Ability to read and understand data formats such as XML and JSON
  • Willingness to learn Salesforce platform
  • Ability to understand system architecture and integrations at a functional level
