ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

  • Design and deliver programs that train new production employees on specific methods and processes required to build product to required quality criteria.
  • Trains supervisors, leads, and backup leads on training practices as needed.
  • Trains and audits hourly production and molding employees on processes and assembly methods.
  • Documents employees' progress relative to following written procedures and performance. Provides written and verbal feedback to management, supervisors and employees regarding progress and improvement goals.
  • Develops and maintains training schedules and logs of all trained employees. Files must be in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Develops, constructs and maintains training stations.
  • Interacts and communicates with production management and support groups in ensuring training and development needs are met.
  • Assesses the skills of employees and determines if additional training is needed.
  • Performs other related tasks of substantial variety and complexity to support management and production personnel as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and three years of experience in production methods and processes.
  • Two years education and/or experience in training related practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop training programs.
  • Demonstrated employee relations and effective communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and explain MPS & GMP practices.
  • Ability to train and develop production employees.
  • Ability to demonstrate production or molding tasks and provide constructive feedback regarding progress/ improvement.
  • Ability to work well with others and pay attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to read and write English.
  • Experience in a leadership role is preferred.
