    Responsibilities
    • Act as the point of contact for external auditors
    • Reviewing financial statements to ensure accuracy of accounting records
    • Conducting audits and reconciling accounts to ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately
    • Preparing reports for management regarding financial status of the company and identifying issues that may require attention
    • Ensuring that payments are made on time by monitoring cash flow and making advance payments when necessary
    • Preparing reports and maintaining records on financial transactions in order to track income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and other measures of financial performance
    • Coordinating with external auditors and accountants to ensure compliance with regulations
    • Conducting audits to ensure accounting records accurately reflect financial transactions
    • Calculating interest rates on loans or bonds using complex formulas such as the yield curve method, and ensuring that interest payments are made on time
    • Managing accounts receivable by following up with delinquent customers for payment on their rent
    • Supervise and train accounting staff
      Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field 10+ years proven accounting experience
    • Professional accounting certification, including CMA, CGA, or CA
    • Working knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP)
    • Strong understanding of economic and banking processes
    • Exemplary history of financial project management
    • Experience with real estate accounting and property management software consider a plus
