- Audit in-process facility procedures and final quality of the vehicle to assure compliance with established quality standards.
- Audit Rail and truck away procedures to customer's standards.
- Verifies all vehicles VIN numbers and that the work scheduled for the vehicle is complete.
- Maintain quality control records according to requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all quality problems to management.
- Follow up on countermeasures to provide input to management that procedure is in place and being followed.
- Perform other assignments as directed. Qualifications
- Complete understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, accessory, distribution, rail, and body shop processes.
- Ability to identify quality problems associated with vehicle and lead effort to construct and implement effective countermeasures to problems.
- Complete understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, customer requirements concerning vehicle condition prior to shipment.
- Ability to carry out specified work procedures and directions of supervisors or leads.
- Be motivated and self directed.
- Have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Ability to drive vehicles with manual and automatic transmission.
- Good communication skills, able to work well with others and keep good relationships with others.
- Read and understand SOS and suggest changes.
