We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Next Generation team This is a Remote opportunity in Mexico.
We are looking for a full stack engineer, particularly with expertise in front-end development in.Net. Next Generation eGiving products use modern cloud and mobile technologies to allow churches to connect with their communities. In this role, you would join our collaborative, forward-thinking development team that supports our Faith-Based products.
What you'll be doing:
- Work closely with Product and Quality Assurance teams to define and refine task requirements and acceptance criteria and to ensure effective testing
- Collaborates with DevOps and Site Reliability Engineers to develop, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
- Supports the Site Reliability Engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve any critical or high priority production issues
- Effectively collaborates and communicates with product teams across the organization
- Mentors and trains team members on industry best practices and company processes
- Develops and maintains technical, nontechnical, and onboarding documentation
Who you are:
- You have 46yrs of coding experience in the workplace using.
NET
- You are experienced with cloudnative web development and at least one cloud development platform (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
- You have an advanced understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software development best practices, including Agile methodology gained from previous work experience
- Intermediate ability to debug noncode issues (OS, DB, network, security, etc.)
- Intermediate knowledge of data modeling and writing performant functional DB queries and the ability to mentor team members in this area
- Intermediate knowledge of security principles and how to proactively avoid and/or resolve them and the ability to mentor team members in this area
- You actively participate in definition of team values and retrospectives
- You take ownership of your work and responsible for your actions
- You understand and provide input on priorities to ensure the team is successful and communicate risks to timelines and expectations
- You display and encourage a mindset of continuous improvement and are adaptable to changing conditions and priorities
- You effectively analyze complex problems within a product suite, perform risk and impact analysis, and identify solutions by balancing the competing interests of simplicity, thoroughness, consistency, and innovation
- You are able to effectively balance multiple products at various stages of development
- You can work independently as well as in a group setting
