DE Level 2

Development Engineer


For his/her perimeter on a given program, the PE is responsible for development of products, tools and processes to reach Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) signoff that meets or exceeds customer and plant Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) targets.

Based on assignment specifics, this scope is relevant from acquisition through end of production.

Complain with security rules and policies.

Product and process development techniques.

Design for Assembly /Design For Manufacturing.

Manage customer relationship and legal Requirements/Regulation

Prepare Equipment/tooling specifications considering security requirements and ergonomics Responsible for tunning at launch phase.

Dimensional convergence plan knowledge. 9. APQP (Advance Product and Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) knowledge for suppliers and customer request.

Equipt Design workshop.

FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) knowledge.

Production line and process capability knowledge.

Program Management (Project Planning and skills with business plan and program budget)
