- Ensure full compliance with the Federal Labor Law (LFT), internal policies, Collective Bargaining Agreements (if applicable), and local regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for labour authorities, including Conciliation Centers (Centro de Conciliación) and the Labour Courts (Tribunales Laborales).
- Prepare and maintain legally compliant documentation for employment relationships, disciplinary actions, and confidential files.
- Provide guidance to leaders regarding legal risks, labor practices, and employee relations trends.
- Lead voluntary resignation, mutual agreement, and employer‑initiated termination processes in strict adherence to LFT statutes.
- Calculate and validate settlements (finiquitos) and severance packages (liquidaciones) according to legal formulas and payroll policies.
- Conduct exit interviews and ensure timely delivery of required documentation (employment letters, IMSS deregistration, etc.).
- Represent the company during conciliation hearings or labour disputes when necessary.
- Coordinate daily transportation routes for workers, ensuring coverage for all assigned shifts.
- Monitor attendance patterns and adjust transportation schedules to maintain efficiency and cost control.
- Partner with security and operations to ensure safe, compliant, and punctual transport service for employees.
- Manage vendor relationships and service-level agreements with transportation providers.
- Support shift assignments and rotations across multiple schedules (1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts).
- Ensure employees receive accurate and timely shift information and that changes follow internal policies and legal guidelines.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure adequate staffing for peak periods, overtime needs, and shift modifications.
- Track shift differentials and confirm proper payroll registration.
- Provide counsel to employees regarding policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.
- Investigate workplace incidents, conflicts, or complaints, ensuring impartiality and timely resolution.
- Collaborate with supervisors to implement corrective actions aligned with the progressive discipline process.
- Support employee engagement programs to foster a positive, inclusive work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of employee movements, disciplinary actions, transportation metrics, and labor-related KPIs.
- Prepare reports on turnover, absenteeism, labour cases, resignations, and shift staffing.
- Support audits related to labour compliance, HR processes, and transportation contracts.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Labour Relations, HR operations, or industrial HR roles in Mexico.
- Experience working in manufacturing plants strongly preferred.
- Proven experience managing terminations, resignations, and labour disputes.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican Federal Labor Law (LFT) and related regulations.
- Experience with HRIS systems, time & attendance tools, and payroll interaction.
- Knowledge of employee transportation logistics (preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- High emotional intelligence and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and documentation discipline.
- Ability to work across shifts or provide support during off-shift incidents when required.
- Plant/manufacturing environment.
- May require occasional support during alternate shifts (2nd or 3rd).
