We are searching for the best talent for Senior Maintenance and Calibration Engineer to be in Ciudad Juarez, México.

Purpose:


This position has as its main function to coordinate and supervise the activities of planned maintenance and calibration personnel ensuring they have the technical skills and leadership competencies to perform maintenance and calibration routines effectively, as well as fault analysis in a safe work environment.

This position also develops maintenance and calibration experts who support the day-to-day activities of the business, as well as its growth.

The leader of this position acts as a change agent for the harmonization and standardization of maintenance and calibration processes in alignment with strategic business initiatives such as ME2 and LEAN manufacturing.


You will be responsible for:


  • Efficiently manage resource utilization, distribute maintenance and calibration workload while
- maintaining a balance between short
- and long-term goals and objectives.

  • Guides and supports the development plans of the personnel in charge accelerating those focused on developing experts in areas of maintenance and calibration.
  • Ensures that procedures are followed and policies including personal safety, quality, and environmental and other applicable policies are complied with.
  • It ensures that maintenance and calibration routines are up to date by improving, rewriting, and creating them as applied.
  • It is responsible for 100% compliance with the calibration of the programmed equipment and protects the inspection, measurement, and test equipment according to good practices and procedures.
  • Actively works with the members of the organization to facilitate the solution to problems presented in the equipment in use by solving corrective actions that improve its reliability.
  • He works effectively and leads projects at different campus sites.
  • It has a high customer focus and bases its decisions always on them.
  • Performs effective verbal and written communications in English and Spanish at various levels of the organization (technicians, engineers, management, and directors).
  • He leads the maintenance and calibration pillars in the ME2 program, guiding in a model that governs and supports the fulfillment of goals to achieve at the Performer level.
  • It provides support in the transfer of new products to operations working in collaboration with engineering groups on the startup or installation of existing equipment.
  • It ensures environmental control monitoring is completed according to the program.
  • Prepares financial budgets for spending and capital and is responsible for meeting established goals.
  • Follow J&J and EES records control policies and procedures such as record retention scheduling, training, education, document retention communications, record disposition, vital records, and third parties as applicable.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned. Other responsibilities may be added.
  • Is responsible for communicating businessrelated matters or opportunities to the next managerial level.
  • For those who supervise or manage personnel, they are responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all the Company's guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environment practices and that all necessary resources to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
  • Is responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State and Local company regulations, policies, and procedures. Performs other assigned tasks as needed.

Calificaciones

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or similar engineering required.
  • Bilingual English
