    Instrument Data Management (IDM) Organization

    The IDM organization is responsible for providing high-quality data content and services that fuel investment decisions. Our focus is on collaborating with Index and Analytics teams to produce and develop input data used in product generation. Additionally, we provide support to sales, consultants, and client relations teams with client inquiries on data content.

    Role of the Equity Instrument Data Analyst

    The Equity Instrument Data Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality for a diverse set of attributes. This role will play a key part in projects supporting IDM initiatives to rebuild and enhance core data content.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of equity market and reference data.
    • Workflow Monitoring: Identify and resolve issues that arise in workflow processes with urgency.
    • Data Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, preventing their recurrence.
    • Variance Analysis: Compare data attributes from various vendor sources.
    • Corporate Event Research: Research corporate events and assets relevant to MSCI methodology.
    • Databases Updates: Update and conduct extensive quality assurance on our financial database.
    • Client Experience Enhancement: Collaborate with local and global teams to improve client experience.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or equivalent field.
    • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a related field.
    • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills (additional language skills a plus).
    • Microsoft Office proficiency.
    • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other programming languages is a plus.
