Main Responsibilities:

Plans, coordinates, and performs manufacturing engineering work for a project or process.
Operates in a team environment within either the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process.
At this level, projects are of moderate scope and responsibility or may be a significant portion of a major and diverse project or process; decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors and/or managers.
May assign, coordinate, and review portions of the work for support personnel, contractors, and suppliers.

What Skills You Need:

Background in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, power systems, etc.).
Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools.
Understands the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP).
Working knowledge of database management tools, the various loan accounting systems, and process management systems.
Knowledge of capital budgeting and capital equipment justification process.
Knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance, and facilities.
Performs more complex functions, understands principles, may teach others.

What Makes You Stand Out:

Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience in one or more related engineering areas: assembly or painting processes years)
Work experience in a team environment years)
Experience with engineering tools, systems, and databases years)
Experience with line designs, line balancing, work measurement, methods, visual management tools, 5s's and lean strategies as well as dynamic simulations (23 years)

Education:

Mechatronic, industrial, or equivalent engineering
