Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Building and maintaining supplier quality policies, procedures, standards, and controls throughout the supply base
Responsible for providing leadership, people skills, and management to a team of Supplier Quality Engineers (Mexico, US, and China)
Create and define vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to add and improve supplier performance
Support quarterly supplier quality scorecard process and quality section of the supplier assessments
Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support the Quality organization to monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance
Facilitate the escalation of unresolved supplier quality issues with SQEs and suppliers
Address Quality issues with Suppliers to ensure quality meets or exceeds quality requirements and corrective actions are implemented immediately upon notification of any failure
Drive corrective actions that come from audits or any other quality escape ensuring that the nonconformance resolution is complete and acceptable

Qualifications, Skills, and Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline
10+ years of Supplier Quality experience or similar Quality role
Experience in Quality requirements working in both domestic and international environments
Ability and flexibility to travel Internationally
Excellent knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Control Plan (CP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP all levels), SPC, MSA, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), and Control Plans (CP)
