The expediting of orders placed with our internal suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and completion of all contractual obligations specified on the purchase orders.

Job Responsibilities

  • The expedition of orders placed with our internal suppliers to ensure ontime delivery and completion of all contractual obligations specified on the purchase orders.
  • Close and continual monitoring of our suppliers and the emission of reports accurately communicating the status of our orders.
  • Maintain the statuses of our orders in our local ERP systems so our internal customer has access to uptodate and accurate information.
  • Emit alerts to the internal stakeholders communicating any restriction or deficiency that could lead to the promised date of the order being compromised so that the appropriate action can be taken.
  • Identify and implement measures to recoup lost time in case of inprocess delays.
  • Ensure RFIs, NCRs etc. are processed in a timely fashion by the corresponding areas (Technical Support, Engineering etc.)
  • Coordinate with Quality Control and Shop Expediting when necessary.
  • Maintain traceability of supplier late deliveries and breach of contract in case of customer claims.
What you bring

  • University degree in a technical, administrative or engineering discipline
  • 3 years of experience in the areas of purchasing, planning, manufacturing or comex.
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing, mining or project engineering organizations.
  • Advanced English and Spanish
  • Good capacities for communication and organization.
