Requirements:

BSME/IE/Business Operations Management and 5+ years manufacturing experience

PC working knowledge (MS Office, PDM system, CADD, Minitab)
Facility or Production Line Layout development (using AutoCad or equivalent)
Strong Mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of assembly and fabrication processes
Knowledge of Design tools, methods, and new technologies
Skill in vendor analysis and negotiations
Strong communication skills to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
Effective use of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma process improvement tools.
Preferred: Material Requirements Planning proficiency (ERP/MRP software)
Preferred: Experience supporting manufacturing of systemlevel Configured products (containing controls and an HMI)
Preferred: Experience compiling and submitting Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR's)

Responsabilities

Adhere to established manufacturing procedures and provide direct support for planttoplant product transfers and new product development programs.
Support Vertiv manufacturing operations using standard processes, equipment, and manufacturing methods.
Identify and justify Advance Manufacturing key processes and equipment.
Provide support for manufactured cost analyses of new and existing products.
Assist in the development and release of standardized manufacturing documentation such as workmanship standards, work instructions, drawings, and BOMs.
Implement best manufacturing practices for existing processes and provide multisite manufacturing engineering support.
Oversee the development and execution of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects for Vertiv manufacturing facilities.
Research and lead new manufacturing technologies and practices.
Coordinate crossplant problemsolving teams to improve operating performance and meet business objectives.
Assist with businesscritical capital projects including facility planning, layout, and cost justification.
Develop and implement manufacturing plans for new products.
Technical Advisor for Vertiv manufacturing facilities.
