Job Summary

Performs architectural planning, design, and Implementation of complex client systems and networking Infrastructure

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Designs, builds, and troubleshoots advanced systems infrastructure Issues.
Designs and oversees user security access and permissions to systems devices as instructed by systems manager or team leader.
Has mastery of systems hardware and operating systems and oversees access as needed
Responds to assists Level I and II Engineer escalations re: complex connectivity problems.
Architects all facets of physical servers, virtual servers, VMWare hosts and virtual machines.
Azure UAA Planning, Design, and Administration
M365 Planning, Design, and Administration
Communicates effectively with management, team leader, and team members.
Develops and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction and improved customer relations.
May oversee or assist Level I and II engineer in installation of systems hardware
Other Duties as assigned

Education Qualifications

Minimum Required Education and/or Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree.
Ten years of experience in networking field

Preferred Education and/or Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in IT preferred

Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements

Minimum Required Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements:

MCSE required

Preferred Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements:

Prefer ASTEA familiarity; A+ and OEM equipment certifications preferred, VMWare, M365, and Azure certs preferred

Ability to: read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public; add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs; solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
