Job Summary

Performs architectural planning, design, and Implementation of complex client systems and networking Infrastructure

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Designs, builds, and troubleshoots advanced systems infrastructure Issues.
  • Designs and oversees user security access and permissions to systems devices as instructed by systems manager or team leader.
  • Has mastery of systems hardware and operating systems and oversees access as needed
  • Responds to assists Level I and II Engineer escalations re: complex connectivity problems.
  • Architects all facets of physical servers, virtual servers, VMWare hosts and virtual machines.
  • Azure UAA Planning, Design, and Administration
  • M365 Planning, Design, and Administration
  • Communicates effectively with management, team leader, and team members.
  • Develops and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction and improved customer relations.
  • May oversee or assist Level I and II engineer in installation of systems hardware
  • Other Duties as assigned
Education Qualifications

Minimum Required Education and/or Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Ten years of experience in networking field
Preferred Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT preferred
Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements

Minimum Required Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements:

  • MCSE required

Preferred Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements:

  • Prefer ASTEA familiarity; A+ and OEM equipment certifications preferred, VMWare, M365, and Azure certs preferred

  • Takes a leadership role in Service/Quality Initiative; continually improves processes; quantitatively monitors processes.

  • Ability to: read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public; add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs; solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
