Purpose Statement:
Responsible for providing technical support on CRG's and Normal Production, focusing on troubleshooting and providing feedback for process analysis and root cause detection of defects. Debug Technicians are essential resources for the Focus Factory team, assisting with diagnosing and validating nonconforming material to be reintegrated into the Normal Process.


Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Participate in troubleshooting and debugging nonconforming material of CRG and Normal Production.
  • Conduct preparation and initial assessment of defective electronic, electrical, and mechanical parts in CRG and nonconforming material of Normal Production.
  • Summarize findings in reports using Microsoft Word, PPT, or Excel; convert to PDF when required.
  • Establish standard assessment practices and create documentation as a debugging guide and Cook Books.
  • Monitor inventory in the debug area to implement actions preventing it from exceeding established limits.

Additional Accountabilities:

  • Assist in assessment and inventories.
  • Support FFs in troubleshooting CRGs in manufacturing and customer sites.
  • Support in the generation of FA reports.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • Minimum requirement of a Technician electronic degree, Engineering, or equivalent experience; Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering Technologies or similar Engineering is preferred.
  • Two (2) years of related experience required; Three (3) years or more preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools is a plus.

Other Qualifications:

  • Organizational, time management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels, verbally and in writing.
  • Skills in conflict resolution and negotiation are preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electronics, ability to interpret schematics and knowledge of components datasheets.
  • Assertive, self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and in a team.

Physical Requirements:

  • General office equipment and materials.

Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and moderate noise level.
