Job Purpose:


Guarantee the profitability of the assigned operations, directing the team with a broad vision of meeting the challenges of the market through the proper administration and optimization of the organization's resources and maintaining total adherence to corporate guidelines.

As well as ensuring the execution of strategies in order to achieve the objectives and results that generate value for the business.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Lead the strategic and operational planning of the northern region of Mexico.
  • Ensure operational and financial results through KPIs such as recordable accidents, Safety, compliance, PPM's, COPQ, On-Time Customer Deliveries, OEE, Conversion Cost, Productivity, Turnover and Absenteeism, compliance as Sales, Inventories and profit
  • Ensure compliance with legal, ethical and financial standards defined by the local administration and Dana Define process improvement strategies to implement best practices for the organization
  • Increase the profitability of operations with correct decisionmaking for the impact on financial indicators.
  • Ensure the implementation of the culture of continuous improvement in processes.
  • Plan and manage the resources needed for operations, including personnel, equipment, facilities, and supplies.
  • Continuously monitor the performance of the organization in the different areas and take actions or adjustments to achieve the financial objective.
  • Ensure the allocation of the correct budget for each of the entities that support the objectives set out in the AOP.
  • Maintain and increase shareholder equity.
