The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a team of Engineers with responsibilities such as Sustaining Engineering, Project Management, and Product Testing.

The Engineering Manager will provide mentorship, coaching and supervising to the team, and will create and execute plans and initiatives to improve the performance of the department and development of the associates in the team.

Ensures the OTD indicators in the Sustaining activities are maintained and continuously improved.

  • Is responsible of creating the necessary initiatives to achieve the Projects goal through the Projects Engineers in the team.
  • Manages the activities in the Product Testing area to make sure the tests are completed in the expected time.
  • Monitors Engineering Projects progress and takes corrective actions when projects go off track.
  • Creates and executes plans to foster the development and growth of the team under responsibility.
  • Identify and resolve issues that arise with a sense of urgency.
  • Manages the financial resources of the area.
  • Ensures stakeholders and customers satisfaction.

Education and Expirience>

Bachelor's Engineering degree with a major in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).

  • Manufacturing or Product Engineering experience in a metalmechanical industrial environment.
  • 3 or more years of experience in a similar role.
  • English written and spoken fluently.
