SUMMARY
The Sr. HR Generalist is responsible for the human resources needs and

implementation of best practices to support achievement of corporate business

objectives in the Mexico site. The Human Resources Generalist support and performs

administrative, strategic, and planning duties. This posistion will assist the recruiting

process, train and on-board, and guide employees through benefits & compensation,

represent both the employee and the company, assist with employee relations matters

and performance management. Also accountable for the vital task of ensuring

compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations for HR/PR policies, processes,

affirmative action etc. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who is

capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization, building

relationships and establishing credibility with employees from a wide range of

teams/departments. Must be able to balance overall corporate needs, employee

support and the ongoing operational needs of the company while maintaining

compliance with all HR regulations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Employee On-boarding/off-boarding

  • Organize and manage onboarding, new
employee orientation and training programs. Oversees HR Asst. processing &
ensures accuracy & compliance of all paperwork. Conducts exit interviews, helps

on data analysis and identifies patterns & potential improvements. Oversees

termination process, ensures proper notification of employee terminations

internally and externally for compliance. Runs turnover reports etc.

HR Policy Management - Partners with HR Manager to review, update, and

communicate human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, and other

government regulations.

Actively participates on GLINT engagement survey process, communication, data

analysis and corrective plans.

Participates and assist in developing site/department goals and objectives.

Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual

improvements in efficiency of the site and services performed.

Comp & Benefit Administration -Assist with employee inquiries. Assist with

annual salary/merit process and performance review process. Bi-weekly Payroll

changes processing. Oversee and act as back up for semimonthly payroll

processing. Ensure payroll's accuracy. Communicating benefit information to

employees.

HR System & Reporting - Assists with data maintenance and integrity of the HR

systems (SAP, Success Factors). Assists with implementation or upgrading of HR

system modules as needed.

HR Compliance - Develops and maintains required compliance programs; files,

other records, reports and logs to maintain compliance with federal and local

regulations concerning employment.

Supports the recruiting team on the recruiting cycle for all temporary and

permanent employees; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors careerpathing

program and writes and places advertisements.

Employee Relations - Tracks employee corrective actions, Partners with the HR

Manager to make recommendations to management team for corrective or

counseling action & continuous improvement. Responds to employee relation

issues such as employee complaints, harassment or discrimination. Handles

employee relations counseling in general.

Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends any other meetings as

necessary.

Performs other related duties as required and assigned.





MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
(Education and/or Experience)

Minimum 5-7 years of experience as an HR Generalist or higher role.

Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field (degree may be substituted for

additional 2 years' experience)

Solid understanding/experience with human resources and payroll processes,

benefit & compensation administration, recruitment & onboarding processes,

handling employee relations issues, organizational planning & development, ,

employment law compliance, performance management, employee

development, corrective action, employee investigations, regulatory reporting.

Advanced English level (C1 or higher).

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and people skills.

Ability to work well with others in a multi-cultural and fast-paced environment.

Experience with population of 200+ employees.
