- 6+ years of hands-on experience with test automation, 3+ years in web and Android test automation
- Solid understanding of object-oriented concepts with any OO languages
- Create and manage automated testing applications, including unit tests, functional and non-functional tests, integration tests and UI automation tests for complex Payment applications
- Architect and implement automation test tools and automation frameworks that will help us release with confidence
- Hands on experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium
- Work with teams to understand test automation gaps and implement coverage
- Work with teams to make testing an integral part of the software development process
- Coordinate testing efforts across teams to ensure delivery of high-quality features
- Assist in driving adoption of best practices in testing and maintainability
- Assist in mentoring and coaching.
- Work within an Agile project methodology.
- Work within aggressive project deadlines.
- Experience working with cross-functional scrum teams
- Should be able to perform both manual and automation testing
- Experience with testing frameworks for unit, integration, and UI automation like JUnit, TestNG, Jensor, Selenium, Appium, UIAutomator, UI Automation, Espresso, Mocha, WebDriverAgent, etc.
- Provide Android subject matter knowledge, expertise, and recommendations to inform leadership decisions, especially with Android automation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field required.
- Experience with Android UI test automation frameworks
- Experience with web automation frameworks
- Experience different automation tools such as Robot, Python, Appium, Selenium, Cucumber, Espresso
- Experience with different programming language such as Java, Python
- Knowledge to understand and translate manual test scripts to automation scripts.
- Ability to learn and implement new technologies as needed.
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to influence others and work in a matrixed environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English, including both writing and speaking
- Experience building an automation framework from scratch is a plus
- Experience with web and mobile manual testing is a plus
- Payments industry experience is a plus
- Experience with payment applications or transaction processing a plus
- Experience with Git or Azure is a plus
- Experience with Rally/AgileCentral a plus
- Visual testing with screen-shot-test-for-android is a plus
