Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare quotation documents in alignment with customer requirements ensuring all customer requirements are addressed.
  • Evaluate customer requirements including customer specifications, research the necessary data and determine cost effective materials of construction and appropriate lead time for Wet Seal and Wet Seal Systems.
  • Communicate orally and in writing with customers, sales and company personnel providing counseling, recommendations and technical assistance.
  • Analyze designs and component part designs, making recommendations for changes to the customer.
  • Is competent in the use of company tools to establish the necessary product selection complete with appropriate costing and pricing.
  • Completes Performance Touch Points and Year End reviews in line with company procedures
  • Maintains effective Procedures to provide consistent support to both internal and external customers.
  • Comply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies.
  • At post order schedule kickoff meetings, perform contract review, create technical file for submittal to post order team. Support Postorder team as needed with any post order pricing changes or technical clarifications.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities will vary based upon departmental needs.
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations.

The Individual

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Instrumentation/Chemical Engineering are preferred. Work experience from centrifugal pumps and mechanical seal industry is preferable but not mandatory.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience to include engineering design, instrumentation, manufacturing knowledge is essential.
  • Fresh Graduate can be considered as a Graduate Trainee Engineer.
  • Working knowledge of relevant industry standards (API 682) is an added advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, changing priorities and reassign priorities to complete assignments.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • English advanced level is required written and oral
