As a
Close Books Specialist, you will be responsible to perform, support and supervise a daily diverse set of work activities included in the end-to-end record to report process for Kellogg organization.

This position will also identify areas for improvement and standardization.


HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Ensures a through riskbased approach to reconciliations by ensuring that aged items are followed up and action plans are put into place, that reconciliations are performed to agreed timelines and issues are escalated appropriately.
  • Reviews and approves reconciliations performed by the team.
  • Perform month end activities in accordance with local and corporate calendar flagging promptly any risks that could cause delays.
  • Investigate & support the resolution of recurring issues within the processes, and coordinate with various individuals to ensure timely resolution of identified issues
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to drive efficiencies and decrease costs.
  • Consistently meets compliance measures and achieves service level agreements.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business-Related field.
  • Experience in Accounting and strong accounting skills
  • Leadership skills
  • English proficiency: Advanced
  • Solid and strong leadership skills to lead a team
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and Power Point
