Job Description:


  • Lead the development, testing, and deployment of Teamcenter, CATIA and VizMockup, including Design Automation and Engineering Efficiency Improvement Projects.
  • Possess expertise with the full lifecycle experience, including requirements gathering, methodology/tool development, testing, signoff, maintenance, technical documentation, enduser support, and training.
  • Work as a liaison between PD business partners to gather and document user stories for IT to create code for PD customer usage on programs.
  • Support the engineering team in delivering product structure for all new and inflight Vehicle Programs.
  • Develop training documentation and other learning materials to support deployment to Product Development.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Teamcenter, TcVis, CDV, BCIS, TcBuck, and PLM processrelated issues to determine root cause and document issues through the ALM issue management system. Prioritize defects and review with IT workstreams.
  • Create business cases and business justification documentation for issues that need to be escalated.
  • Develop technical documentation and training videos and perform inperson or Webex training.
  • Interact with Teamcenter users to improve their current processes using holistic domain knowledge, tool knowledge, and best practices defined by the PLM business team.
  • Automate repetitive and timeconsuming tasks using VisAutomation scripting language, VB Script, and Python.
  • Create proposal test parts in CATIA or NX and position parts in Teamcenter. Review within TcBuck for fit, form, and function in the context of a vehicle program.
  • Set up automated performance tracking of different Teamcenter processes using Selenium and Splunk. Review Splunk dashboard with IT to determine root cause of performance issues.
  • Execute the testing to support new releases of software
  • Automate the testing wherever feasible

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BSME or MSME required
  • 3+ years of experience using Siemens PLM suite of tools, active workspace, VisMockup, structure manager, option dictionary, revision rules, variants and effectivities along with CAD expertise in CATIA and NX
  • Experience supporting Ford Motor Company in Product Design, 3D Modeling, Detailing, Assembly, Packaging, Reverse Engineering, in the Automotive Domain for OEMs and their Tier1 Suppliers Technical understanding of Siemens Teamcenter PLM / Active Workspace
  • Handson experience in Project Management, such as preparation of Project Proposals, Effort estimation, Resource planning, Project tracking, Metrics collection and Customer interaction
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work within cross functional teams.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills and teaching point of view
